THE NORTHERN ENTHUSIASM.
THE Quoen City of the North, Auckland, had the honour of first extending to- the Royal visitors a hearty welcome to New Zealand, and right well was the task carried out, but the charm of the greetings of the North weio the wildly enthusiastic welcomes of the Maoris, which must have greatly affected the Duke and Duchess. The Royal couple are welcome to our island home, and, although we cannot claim any monopoly of loyalty and reverence for the British constitution, no other part of the Empire can exceed us in the warmth and genuineness of the same. Wherever the Ducal couple meet the people of New Zealand, they will get a decidedly cordial welcome, and during the coming week we expect to see Wellington outshine Auckland in doing the honours. If it is a fine day on Tuesday, it will be a fine spectacle, and Wellington people will show their loyalty in no uncertain way. The Duke and Duchess will be welcomed as warmly as is Suratura tea dailv. Suratura comes from Ceylon, and is noted for its purity strength, and fraerance. Suratura is guaranteed not blended with Indian, China, or any cheap or inferior teas.
