TO ARMY AND NAVY OUT-PEN-SIONERS IN THE AUCKLAND DISTRICT. fld 11 Id Payment of PENSIONERS for JL the ensuing Quarter will be made at the undermentioned places and dates: Auckland, Ith April, at 9 a.m., at the Albert Barracks. Onehunga, 3rd April, at 2 p.m., at the Commissariat Store, Beach. Otahuhu, 9th April, at 1 p.m., at Commissariat Ollice, Camp, Otahuhu. Panmure, 13th April, 12 noon, at the Post-office. Ilowick, 13th April, at 2 p.m., at Mr. Crow’s house. Pensioners who may not be able to attend at the several places on the days and at the hours mentioned above, must make application in writing to the Military Accountant, Auckland, stating the reasons for their absence. Pensioners residing at Drury need not appear at Otahuhu, but will apply by letter to the Miihary Accountant, Auckland ; and upon their making the usual declaration, and forwarding the receipts duly signed, a cheque for the amount will be sent to their address, and at their risk. Pensioners neglecting to apply at least once within a period of twelve months will be struck off the List and their pensions suspended, pending reference to the Secretaiy of State for War. Notice is hereby given that on and after the 31st March instant, those Persons whose Claims for Compensation for losses by the War in this Province have been recommended to the consideiatiou of the Government by the Commissioner, Mr. Beckham, will receive One third of the Sum so recommended, on application at the Provincial Treasury. The claimant will he required to enter into a bond for the repayment of any sum now to be advanced, in case it shall appear, upon the re-investigation proposed to be made, that the claim is not valid. 765mar31 DANIEL POLLEN.
