A communication signed " Argus," addressed to tlic editor, which appeared in our last Wednesday's issue, was inadvertently inserted without the knowledge of either editor or proprietor of this journal. When we. are. compelled to engage in war the cause as well as the focmati must be "worthy of our steel ;"' peace once restored, we shall never be found among tbo fust t.. break it.
