CONVEYANCE of STORES, BAGGAGE, &c., at per ton, weight, or measurement, 2. CONVEYANCE of PASSENGERS. Ist and 2nd class (exclusive of messing). 3. CONVEYANCE of HORSES. The Tender to state one uniform rate for each of the above services between any two posts (irrespective of distance) now in-exist-ence, or which may hereafter be established on the Waikato and Waipa Rivers, including the landing place, MaunJatawhiri Creek. All stores to be at the risk of the Contractor from the time they are handed over to him until delivered at the posts to which they are consigned. The rates for first-class passages to include an allowance of half a ton measurement of baggage, and all deliveries of stores to be taken and made on a wharf, where such is in existence, and otherwise on dry land above highwater mark, at the cost and risk of the Contractor. The Contractor will be required to give security for the due performance of his contract, and parties tendering should state the number and description of steam and other vessels with which they propose carrying out his contract; in the event of their tender being accepted.
