THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT.
We see by the Order Paper that Dr. Pollen is to move in the Council today, that the Speaker be authorised, on behalf of the Council, to sign the petition to liia Excellency for the dissolution of the (Council. The question so long pending between the Superintendent and the Council.will then be brought , to an issue, and we trust his Excellency will accede to the wishes of the Council.' ’ It is clear that the present state ofthings is Very unsatisfactqry ; and .as nothin,” in the shape of argument has yet beenjadvanced against the 'remedy-proposed by-the Provincial Council, wc have. every reason to hope that that remedy will her adopted.
