POLICE COURT— Thursday.
(Before Thos. Beckham, Esq., R.M.) Drunkards. Christian FraJerickson, William Jones. John Shears, William Williams, John Ambrose, Joseph Brilliard, John Covell, and Luke Jones, were fined 20s. each and costs, or 48 hours imprisonment. Henry Thomas’ bail was declared to be forfeited. Assault.—Joseph Bradley and James Peterson werecharged with striking J. D. Jenkins, second officer on board the ‘ Jumna,’ whilst in the execution of his , duty, on Wednesday, the 26th inst. They were sentenced to eight weeks’ hard labour.
