Prize Medals were awarded to Merryweather and Son at the London and Paris Exhibitions of 1851, 1855, and 1862, for the best and most powerful Hand-power Fire Engines, of all descriptions and sizes, suitable for Fre Brigades, Towns, Insurance Companies, Factories, Docks, Railways, Public Buildings, Mansions, Ships, Farms, &c. Manufacturers also of Fire Escapes, Hose, Bunckets, Pumps, FireCocks, and of all kinds of Fire-extinguishing Apparatus, &c.
