It was only when it was but too apparent &> all around him that he was a dying man, that he was permitted to leave the-camp; If it is necessary to furnish any further, corroborative proof of the correctness of my statement," ! can bring the evidence of" his comrades to prove what I have now stated to he true, ■■in ,...> ' ' .■,.
