A* we anticipated in our last the brig signalled on Friday 1 ist proved to be the Gazelle, Captain Edwin Stafford, from Wellington, with cattle. The Gazelle was only four day* on the passage and landed 151 out of 157 head of cattle shipped. On Saturday she came out of the Tamaki and anchored oft’ the North Head. She has since sailed again for Wellington for another cargo of live stock. The schooner Kauri, Captain Shearer, arrived on Saturday morning from Kaipoi after a good run of a little over five days. Sailed on Sunday evening the 2'» th ult, and whilst oil* the Kaikoras experienced a hard blow from the North, Site brings a cargo of wheat. The total value of gold exported in the s.s. Lord Ashley to Sydney on Saturday last was .£*47<l. The following was omitted in her clearance:—l parcel (57 ozs) gold, valued at £220, IJank of New South Wale?, The brig Woodlark, Captain McClemens, proceeded down harbour to Maraiti on Monday last to ship a cargo of timber.
