I COCHRANE & CO., Anctioieers, Fort-street, Auckland. f NOTICE. London, Ist October, 1361. Messrs, saunders, otlef & co. to announce to the Subscribers and Readers ot the “ Oriental Budget,” that while taking advantage of the Repeal of the Paper Duly, and permanently enlarging that Journal (on and after the Ist November next) to FORTY-FOUR PAGES, OT ONE HUNDRED and thirty-two columns of matter, they have resolved, at the same time, to change its title to the Literary Budget for England* India, China, Australia, and the Colonies. Two years ago, the “Oriental Budget” was originated for circulation in India and our Eastern Colonies alone. It now finds its way to every British Colony in the four quarters of the globe, and circulates as well a large number in England. It will be obvious, therefore, that the title, “Oriental,” has now become a misnomer. No change whatever will be made in the contents of the “ Budget,” which will be conducted on the same plan principles which have rendered it so successful. It will be devoted, as heretofore, to Literature, Politics, the Drama, Science, and tyrt, and its price will remain One Shilling. —' gar Subscribers* names will be received at the “ New-Zsalander” Office. tfanmry I, jsw, 1
