Maritime Record.
Launch.— On Thursday last, notwithstanding the fierce South-westerly gale then blowing, the cutter, some lime in coiistiuction by Messrs. Beddoes and Co. of the North Shore, was successfully committed to her destined element. She is a smart looking craft, of about 4U tons, builder’s measurement, has been named the Satellite, and is the property of Mr. S. J. Edmonds, of Queen Street Wharf. The movement of the troops towards Druty and Maungalawliiri, has proceeded steadily. As we slated in our ia.t, the 12th and 14th marched from Otahuhu to Drury on Thursday morning, and to Maungatawhiri next day. On Wednesday, the -tilth look their departure from Otahuhu : and on Thursday, they were followed by Hie 70lh. Yesterday morning, our old and long tried friends the 65th, numbering some ioo bayonets, inarched out of the Albert barracks for the Camp at Otahuhu, from whence they will continue their route, this morning, for Drury. Auckland is consequently, at present, in the loyal keeping of the Royal Artillery, with something like two companies of the (Jjlh; whilst the Camp at Otahuhu, is left in Charge of a small body of what are called the non-effectives of the several regiments.
