Nothing of a ■articu- ( larly exciting nature had occurred sice the f despatch of the September Mail. 1 T* . C It is to be regretted that Miranda as not j the bearer of the Mail itself, more esjcially t as the Prince Alfred had sailed from ydney < for Nelson on the 17th, and Lord Ashy was 1 only going into Sydney on the 19th. It is to be hoped Prince Alfred received thMail, t (which arrived that day) prior to herlepar- t ture. j It will be seen by reference to ouMari- | time intelligence that the ship William t own, t Irom London to New Plymouth, was Irnt at * son. All hands saved. *
