'NDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in J the Superintendent in that behalf by " The Harbour Endowments .Act, 1859, No. 2," I hereby notify for public information that the Lease for Ninetynine (99) years, at a nominal rental, of each of the pieces or parcels of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunder written, will, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, on THURSDAY, the 22nd day of December next, at the Waste Land Office, be offered for sale by public auction. Terms of payment :—One third of the purchase money for each allotment, to be paid in cash on the day of sale; one third within three months, and one third within six months from that day, with interest at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum. I—There will be a General Parade on fie first S Tuesday in each month, at 6 o'clock a.m., in the Albert Barracks; all Members to attendNo. 2—Those Members who lately attended the Sergeant Major's drill, that have lately (newly) joined, and those who may join, will Parade every Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock a. m., in the Albert Barracks, until they are properly drilled. IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Charles Henry Montressor Smith, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the Pensioner Settlements, Province of Auckland, do hereby givc notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 28th day of November, 1859, issued under the hand of His Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at Onehunga, on WEDNESDAY, the 7th day of December, 1859, and that the Poll (if necessarv), will be taken on THURSDAY, the Bth day of December. 1859. There are large enclosed Stock Yards, with Calf Paddock, Workman's Hut, Stable, Cow and Bullock Sheds, Piggeries, &c There is a good Well of water, and Garden well stocked with Fruit Trees. There is also a number of Stock, Agricultural Implements, and Household Furniture that can be taken at a valuation. There is also an adjoining Farm of 150 acres of Prime Land considerably improved. These Farms will be sold separately or together to suit purchasers. One-half of the purchase money may remain on Mortgage, for a term of 3 years, at 8 per cent, per annum. Apply to MESSRS.
