It is the first of her Majesty's Mt. ing ships that has ever ruffled their waters, but, from the facility of her ingress, we have no doubt it will by no m». nl last. To make this very important harbour more generally known, and thereby it prevent as much as possible a recurrence of the privationsthst have been suffered in this latitude for want of a port ofrefuge, the Falkland Island Company has printed for circulatioa Charts of Stanley, showing the entrance and soundings to the harbour, with the admiralty directions for approaching It. m Stanley, is a free port. Good water it supplied by thegoveta* * merit at 2s fid per ton.
