WHEREAS by the “Customs Regulation Act, 1858,” it is provided that it shall bo lawful for the Governor in Council by Older in Council published in the New Zealand Gazelle from time to time to suspend during such time as may appear expedient, the operation ,qf any provisions of the said Act, either throughout the Colony of New Zealand, or in or at any particular district or part to be defined or specified for the purpose.
