The Licensing Day. —ln our notice of the proceedings at the late Licensing Day, the word u free ” was omitted flora the resolution proposed by Mr. Lusk condemnatory of concerts at public-houses. What Mr. Lusk wished to protest against was, the system of enticing persons to public-houses by promise o l'fret; concerts, as a means of inducing them to purchase liquors—not against entertainments properly got up, and where admission is paid for in money at the doors, although the concert-room may be in an hotel or inn.
