The Thames sailed fram Gmvesend on the 19th. and the Down, on the 2 1st July, and has been 127 days in the pansage. She experienced light win'ls but favourable weather during the former part of the voyage but on coming round Van Dieman'sL-ind and approaching j New Zealand, encountered heavy g..lea. hue spoke several vessel! but none connected with this colony. Several patsengera have arrived by this vessel tome of whom remain to -settle at Auckland, others are to proceed to Wellington. The Thames bason hoard a large quantity of fire brick for the K«wau Smeltins Works, 2nd a portion of her car.o 1. for Wellington. The Ornalia barque, and the Pekin *hip were laid ou for Isejr Zealand, the former to sail from London for Wellington and Auckhul about the middle of August. Ano ther vessel, name not mentioned, wai to sail for Auckland and Wellington on the Ist September. The Moa, which Bailed on Thursday, it appears encountering the severe gale of that night and the two following dayi, wag obliged to oime to anchor under 2S outride the head°s. -he sailed early on Monday mornin-with a favourable wind, and was passed by the Thymes between six and seven o clock off liruirimatangi. The Fetrelhng, from Sydney bound to California, arrived at Mongonui to take in provision and water, on Tuesday the 20th inst She was full of passengeis, who were all well ; but the vessel was so overcrowded that many of those wuh families offered to forfgo halt their passage money if the Captain would put them ash ore at Mongonui.
