PROVISIONS FOR HOSPITAL.
Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 11th June, 1849. fTpENDERS will be received at this Office _1_ until noon on Monday, the 25th inst., for the supply of the undermentioned articles, for the service of the Colonial Hospital, during the six months commencing! on the Ist July, 1849. The articles to be delivered at the Hospital at the expense of the contractor, and to be subject to the approval of the Colonial Surgeon as to quality. Presh Beef or Mutton Pork Pine Bread Potatoes Tea and Sugar Oatmeal Arrowroot j> at per Ib. Sago Rice Salt Soap Mixed Vegetables Dip Candles Brandy, Port Wine, ) at per two and Poiter j gallons Milk and Vinegar at per quart Oil at per gallon Straw, at per ton of 2240 lbs. Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties proposed as sureties. Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed " Tender for Provisions for Hospital." By His Excellency's command, Andrew Sinclair, Colonial Secretary.
GAOL AND LOCK-UP RATIONS. Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, June 11th, 1849. TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this office until noon on Monday, 25th inst., from parties who may be willing to enter into a contract for the Colonial Service at Auckland, to furnish supplies of Provisions and other Necessaries to the undermentioned departments, during the ensuing six months,! commencing Ist July. Gaol — Auckland. Ration No. 1, at per Ration. " No. 2, " " No. 3, " Police Lock-up, Auckland. At per ration . Information respecting the established rations for the several departments may be obtained at this office. Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the Tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties who may be proposed as Sureties.
