The amount of the piize to be given for each Race will be declared in a subsequent advertisment. RULES. No horse to be entered for any stake, except the Native Kace, which is not bona (idethe properly of a subscriber to the race fund of oue guineaEntrances to be made with the Clerk of the Course, at the Exchange Hotel, on or before Monday, the 24th instaiit. The Colors of the Riders to be declared at the time of Entrance, and not altered under a fine of 10s. 6d.,— to be added to the race fund. All stakes, subscriptions, and fines to be made good before starting, or the horse whose owner or name shall make default, will not be entitled to «in. All Matches to be declared to the Clerk of the Couise on the Entrance Day, that they may be inserted in the Lists, unless made after that period, when they will come off on the last day. The owner of each horse entered for a match to pay 10s. 6d. to the Race Fund. All disputes to be referred to the Stewards whose decisions will be final. Auckland, Ist Jan. 1848.
