.By the Marj/, we have Hobart Town and Launcestou papers to the 18th ult. Their
domestic contents are unimportant. We subjoin a few extracts. The Lieutenant Goternor. — His Excellency Sir W. On Monday morning last, about 7 o'clock, his Excellency was proceeding down Macquarie-st., when, at the cornerof the Commissariat stores, cross ing the curb-stone, his Excellency was seized with an epileptic fit, and fell down in the road Mr. Fox, of the (( Crown and Anchor," seeing some one fait, ran over the way, and perceiving it was the Lieut. Governor, procured some water, and bathed his Excellency's temples, despatching his son to Government house, with the intelligence of his Excellency's indisposition. Mr. Dossitor riding up, proceeded in search of medical assistance. Staff surgeon M'Donald was soon in attendance. Meantime his Excellency was conveyed into the " Crown and Anchor," Mr. Fox using his best exertions to recove»..his Excellency, who remained there upwards ofVa "quarter of an hour. Restorative* were applied, and Mr. Stanley arriving with his Excellency's private carriage, conveyed him to Government House His Excellency was very much exhausted, and had to be lifted into the carriage. We however believe his Excellency was so far recovered as to attend to his | office duties at ten o'clock. The result of our inquiries yesterday is, that his Excellency was convalescent, and that there was no interruption of his usual attendance to transact public business.—Hobart Town Courier, Sept. 15.
