The Coquette from Sydney may be daily expec'ed. The Ganges has brought 350 tons coals. She lost a great number of the live stock put on board at Newcastle, from bad weather, and her crowded state. Out of 329 sheep, 28 heifers, 4 cows and 8 horses, she has lost 129 sheep, 22 heifers, 3 cows, and 5 horses. , The Terror landed a portion of her Sydney cargo at the Bay of Islands, and has brought on the remainder here The Timlw's cargo consists principally of flour from Hohart Town via Wellington. v The brig Julia was advertised in the Hobart Town papers to sail from thence for Auckland and Port Nioholson, about the 20th ult., so that her arrival may shortly be expected. The Minerva, 691 tons, IW'Brath, and Sir Robert Sale, 741 tons, Loader, were to sail in June for New Zealand, with pensioners. The schooner Lucy has been io long from Port Philip without any tidings, whatever of her, that it is feared she is lost. The crew consisted of the mate and four seamen. The Sagholien was at Deal on the 27th May. for Wellington and Auckland. The ship John Fleming, wa« at Two-fold Bay on the 9th Sept., taking in cattle for New Zealand.

English Shipping. — The Hereford, from Sydney 4th January, arrived at Gravesend 31st May; the ' Hamlet, hence the Ist February, on the 13th May; the Urgent, hence (he 6th February, on the laih May; and the Trafalgar, hence the 14ih January, about the same time. We are informed by a passenger of the Eleanor Lancaster, that the Johnstone, hence the 25th February, had also arrived home prior. 'to the departure of that vessel for this port. H. M. steamer Driver, from New Zealand, arrived at Portsmouth on the 13th, and Woolwich on the 18th May, having made the passnge in 103 days. The William Parker sailed from Gravesend on the 2nd June. The Baboo left the London Docks for Sydney on the • 12th May, but having got on shore in proceeding down the river, was compelled to return and discharge her cargo, and was in the dry dock undergoing repairs on the Ist. June. The Trafalgar was to sail for Sydney on the Ist July, being the post office packet for that month. The Hamlet was advertised to sail for Sydney on the l Oth July. The FValmer Castle had been again laid on for this port, to sail early in September, and wo are informed that when the Penyard Park sailed, nearly the whole of her accommodations were engaged. Among the intended passengers were General Wynyard, (the new commander of the forces hi this colony,) and the Bishop of Melbourne and pany. The Victoria sailed from Falmouth for Hobart Town on the 18th, and Joseph Somes from Qravesend on the 19th May. The Arab from Port Phillip, arrived at Gravesend on the 23rd May. The Rattler, from H*>bart Town, the 20th January, arrived off Folkcstoue on the 14th May. The Ralph Brrnal from New Zealand, arrived at Gravcsetid the 11th May, and entered outwards again for the same destination on the 18th. The Canton from Adelaide to Swansea, was spoken by the Hamlet in lat. 86 ° N., long. 3£ W. The Rajah sailed from Plymouth for Adelaide on the 23rd May, and the Aboukir and liacel from Deal on the same day. The brig Rebecca Jane tailed fiom Deal (or Guernsey to load for Adelaide on t/te 20th May. The Elizabeth Thompson sailed from Liverpool for Hobart Town on the 27th May; same day, the North Pole for Port Phillip. The Rrighttnan sailed from Gravesend for S)dney on the 2nd May. — Sydney Herald. Among the vessels which sailed from England in June for the adjacent colonies, wore— the Eleanor Lancaster and William Parker, both for Sydney, on the 3rd ; and the Colonist for Hobart Town on the Ist. The Sapphire from Sydney, and the Henry from Launceston, reached Gravesend, 3rd June. The Driver from Sydney, entered inwards at London, 28tli May. The Hereford also from Sydney, arrived oft" WeymoutU the day iollowing, The Australia entered outwards for Hobart Town 3rd June. The JVavctly was to sail for Hobart Town, with convicts, about the middle of June ; and the Jane Frances on the 15th, and llatllev and Wellington on the I Oth July. The Dispatch, 300 tons, Gloden,. was laid on for Swan River. The Mariner, 683 tons, Harland, was to sail on the 7th June. Lady M'Naghten, 508 tons, Hibbert, with emigrants, and Anlilla, 283 tons, I'earcp, with merchandise, in June, all for Adelaide. The Marmiom, 320 tons, Dale, Vixen, 326 tons, Doughs, and Lord Jlungerford, 73 tons, were laid on for i'ort Phillip. The Sterling, London Post Office Packet for May, which reached Sydney on the 31st ult., after a passage of 120 days, brought an unusually large mail, consisting of 22 bags, and the whole of the necessary machinery for the light-house in course of erection on King's Island and Cape Otway.
