Commissariat, Auckland, 14th May, 1847. TENDERS for supplying the Royal Engineer Department with such quantities as may be required of Oaten or Cultivated Grass Hay, will be received at this Office, until noon of Friday, the 2 list ult. The Contract to remain in force until the 31st October, 1847, and the person obtaining it will be required to give full security for its performance, ' Tlie Hay is to be delivered by the Contractor at such times and places as may be appointed, and in the event of its quality being disapproved, it must be immediately replaced, or it will be competent for the Engineer Department to make the necessary purchases, and charge the amount against the Contractor.
