Garden.— Transplant cabbage and cauliflower. Plant potatoe-onion. Plant fruit trees and shrubs, also cuttings. Shorten the shoots of the vine, preparatory to further dressing about the first of August. Cut over strawberry beds; clear the plants of all runners and point over the ground between the plants. Prune and dress raspberries. Dress asparagus and rhubarb beds. Field.— Sow wheat on every opportunity when ground is in condition. Attend to have the furrows cleared after the seed is harrowed in. Plant thorns in hedge rows.
