I\ansplant celeiy in ridges; plant potatoes, on dry sihntions, for second ciop. Shorten the tender of the vine, so as to check the iiav of the sap from the intended to produce fruit the next season. Fiu,d. —Cms vceds may he sown on stubble, if the ground has been well piepared for the previous crop. Prcpaie bioken up ground, by ploughiug, hanowing, and burning loots.
