TO COVER THIS SEASON* Young Tom of Lincoln, T ATE the property of, and bred by Mr. C. JU Smith, of Sydney ; now belonging to I Edward Constable, of Kent Place, Eden Valley. He was got by that-well known horse, '" Tom of Lincoln, " imported to Sydney by Mr. Smith, in 1?35, and out of a pure Clydes dale Mare. " Young Tom/ is seven years old, beautiful black, fine symmetry, and bone; and has proved himself a good worker, and sure_foalgetter# Terms, — Two Guineas, to be paid before the Mare is stinted. N.B- Good English grass paddocks for Mares on reasonable terms.
AGRICULTURAL SHOW AT SYDNEY. — A sample of New Zealand wheat attracted much attention. It was a fine round plump grain, and w ould fetch the top market price; a label stated that there was a crop of seventy bushels to the acre, which we should be very much inclined to doubt. It did not state what part of New Zealand this wheat was grown in. Weslbyan Mission.— Sir Eardley Wilmott presided at the annual meeting of the Wesleyan Missionarj Society, held at Hobart Town.
