It will be found unnecessary to hoe and earth up potatoes, only pick out the strong weeds that m.iy appear amongst the pUnts, ; by this method much labour is saved, and the crop is equally good, but ean 1 ought to be taken to have the ground well pulvcmed previous to planting.
