The schooner Cheerful, was laid on for this port, to sail from Sydney on the 31st Oct., consigned to Mr. D. Nathan. The Stiathibla, from Sydney, laid on for this port, with cattle, expdeted daily, consigned to Mr. Webster. The barque Leander, 290 tons, Mi Una an, master, from London, left the Downs, 20th June, with merchandise, arrived at Sydney 21st Oct.
TnE Mary.— The enquiry instituted by the General Assurance into the state of the Mary, and the circumstances of her wreck, have teiminated ; and the directors finding that they had no grounds on which to resist the pa)inent of the sum for which she w.as insured, have handed the amuunt, to the owners.
