The Templar was exactly off -Cape Horn on the evening of the 10th of Eebruary, and had beautiful •weather there. It afterwards appeared op comparing journals, that she rounded theflorn twenty four hours before the St. George. The Templar dropped anchor in the harbour of Rio, on the 4th of March. Lord (-rlentworth here heard of the death of his grandfather (the' Earl of Limerick). HM. Frigate Alfred waslying there. On the 12th March, the , Templar weighed anchor, and owing to the wind being light and contrary she was towed fo sea by the naval British, and, Portuguese boats united. Afyer this the Templar experienced very light winds, and a steady comfoi table voyage for the passengers, but in conse- ' qiience, did not reach the North Foreland until the 7th May. The Earla nd Countess of Limerick and family landed at Margate. The whole of the passengers were greatly gratified by Capt Brown's cunduct,, during the voydge.— Sydney Paper.
