The second counts have disclosed the defeat of Mr McKcnzie (Minister of Railways) and Sir Frank Madden (Speaker), while Mr Agar Wynne (cx-Postmaster-.Gencral) reenters public life as member for St. Kililn. Labour won the Jbkajika seat from (lie Liberals. Later returns emphasise the defeat of the Peacock Ministry and the success of the new Nationalist Party, which includes many previous peacock supporters. The position is curious, Sir Alexander Peacock will probably tender his resignation of the Ministry on Monday.
