The imports increased 13,101,000 tons and Ihe exports 0,041,800. The reexports'decreased 3.567,107 tons compared with October, 1910.

In the Hones of Commons, the lion. W, IT. Forater' (Financial Secretary to the War Office) staled.that since the outbreak of (he war the British armies on all fronts had.taken 166,000 prisoners, 'over 800 guns, of which 101,534 prisoners and 519 guns were taken on the West front since, the Ist of July lust year. The British armies in ail theatres had also conquered' or reconquered 128,000 square miles. With the Palestine returns still'incomplete, they had 30,197 prisoners and 186 guns.
