Sir Alficd Mond's Committee ap pointed ill 1915 to consider the most In ting wai menioiul lccommcnded, a National Wai Museum on a vast scale, illustiatjiig the campaigns on sea,am] land in all theatres. The creation of equipment and transport'of armies, also civilian contributions to- the war, notably munitions,'the women's share being specially commemorated. The jllall of Honour will be the central feature of the museum, immortalising the greater figures. The Memorial Gallery will record the names of the fallen, and tho special achievements of ships, regiments and.contingents, In large courts will be exhibits of implements of war of every description, especially new weapons. Other exhibits will include captured trophies, photograph models of ships, trenches, munition factories, submarines, aircraft, tanks, A special department 'will be allowed for historical records. •
