FAILURE TO ENROL. Per Press Association. ' DUNEDIN, July 23. Thomas Hemy Smith, aged 21 years, for'failing to enrol in the First Division was senioneed to,one month's imprisonincut. The magistrate, Mr J. R. Bartholomew,- said accused had deliberately evaded his responsibilities. lUyhad no'f sentenced liim for the full tol-ni of three months because he fhought it desirable that such a man should be taken into camp at an early period.
