A. cyclone storm stiuck Auckland about nine o'clock last night, and for twelve hours wind blow with terrific force, while torrential rains fell, the fall for twenty-four hours to 9 a,m. being 2.58 inches, making 10,85 inches for the month to date. Considerable damage was done ashore and afloat, but in no case involving heavy los*. Every street is a lake and business is suspended.
