Received November 14,6.0 p.m. '-'''£'■ ' LONDON, November 14, / At a conference Mr Massey and Sir Joseph Wjard made •' representations on behalf of the Colonial meat trade as to the ' manner of handling the surplus New Zealand meat in England. Mr Massey and Sir Joseph Ward, in the afternoon, met the executive of the New Zealand War Contingent Association and discussed the methods of dealing with wounded invalid soldiers. ' _ The Wool Conference has been postponed until to-morrow owing to the absence of several members of the Cabinet. Sir Joseph Ward emphatically denies the report circulated in New Zealand that he will be succeeding Sir Thomac Mackenzie.
