BMOU3 FLOODS REPORTED. (Per Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY. October 7. . The Bathurst Hoods have rendered I wo hiimlTed families homeless. Received Octoberl2.-I0 a.m. SYDNEY. October 8. The latest reports show that many rivers are in llood. Heavy damage has been caused to the crops ami stock. Flood boats have been sent to Forbes, where the Lachlan river has inundated the country for miles, Jt is reported that there will be heavy losses in cattle and sheep. Thousands of acres of wheat have been ruined at Gundagai and' the valleys of the Delubla and llawkesbury rivers, where wide areas are inundated. Much damage has been reported, and many settlers have been compelled to leave their homes.
