An official communique says: The British repulsed a violent Bulgarian-of-fensive on the Struma and occupied Nevol'jen, The Italians attacked Lake Bnlkova. The Serbian, offensive is developing-. The advance guards have reached Bclavoda Valley. The French are operating on the shores of Lake Prespa. LONDON, October 0. A French official message says: The British forced the enemy to retreat on the Struma front. There is lively fighting on the whole of the Cernn front. When within reach of our guns they wore deluged in 'shrapnel. The Bulgarians fell 'in scores.' They fled back. Later they tried again, but shells fell on a group of forty and wiped out the lot.
