WOUNDED. A list of names of over 400 men wounded was also received, full details of which will be published on Monday. FALLEN AND WOUNDED. - —■ 1 ■ KILLED IN ACTION. Private D. W. Rosie. News was privately received yesterday morning that Private .Donald William Rosie, son of the late James Rosie, of Oamarn, had been killed in action in France. Private Rosie was born in Oamarn, and attended the South School. He was employed in the Union Steamship Company's Office, and then as purser on several of (he Company's vessels. He enlisted in Wellington with the Fifth Reinforcements, and was wounded in the Siivla Bay landing. He returned from England, and took part in the evacuation of the Peninsula. He went to France with the first body of New Zealanders. He was a keen cricketer and footballer, captaining the Union and Excelsior Clubs. Private Rosie was twenty-five years of age. A brother, Private L. Rosie, was wounded in France on September iulh, and another sailed with the Seventeenth Reinforee- ' ments, and two are in camp with the Nineteenths. Trooper F. R. Weenink, _ Trooper F, R. Weenink, who is reported killed in this morning's casualty list, was a Greymouth boy, but enlisted in Wellington, where he was employed In the head office of the Labour Department. He was a scholarship boy a few years ago, and later sat for the junior and senior civil service, and was a young man of excellent parts, being only twenty-one years of age. His mother is the sister of the Rev. J. A. Lochore. This is the third nephew that Mr Lochore has lost on the French front.

Private E. J. Timbliek, son of Air Timbliek, of M-iheiio, has died at Peatherston Military Hospital. He was born at Pnkeuri, and attended the Weston and Enfield Schools. He went to South Africa with the 10th. Con-

Mc'Laiiglilin, Yaie street, has received'word that his son, Rifleman M. ,1. .McLaughlin, who left with the Ninth Reinforcements, lias been wounded in Franee on tiie Ifith September,,'':-^ Mrs Young, of Stonr street, has been advised that her son, Jack, was wounded in France on the llilh September. No mention is niade of the nature of the wound. Private Young'left with the Eighth Reinfoiwinents, and .was a painter in the employ of Mr T, Kennedy, prior to enlisting, Mr .1. Rolison, Ribble street, has received word that his soil, Private William linbson, who left with the Tenth Reinforcements, has been wounded in the face in France, and was admitted to hospital 'On 19th September,
