Some of- these were notified - that their .services were not required after last night 'This apparently did- not. cause any difficulty, but trouble arose when the other half declined to' proceed further with the completion of repairs unless a change in the inspection-took place,'aiid work: was accordingly suspended. The shipwrights from uorthem ports proceeded North to-day. ' '. A. hint was conveyed in the statement made (in response to an enquiry), "An expert in engineering does'not necessarily know anything about ■ ship/ wrighting."
