On various occasions the young men connected with the paity visited the countiy districts, cai lying M'un and ciiteitaiiime.it to the; dwellers away from the town. The-conceit party,was not organised for the purpose of money-making. Indeed, wo lia\e, on seveial occasions, aclcndwledgcd the donation to charitable funds of the profits of the party \ concerts. This year "The Nobbies" have made another geneious donation, The members have put aside I'oi a season I their music and tliein iniith, and have given their services—given tliemslves—for the strenuous business of wai. "The Nobbies" paity has ceased to exist, because all the membeis, with the exception of tuo who aic compelled to le'ii'iain at home, have lcspondcd to the cOuntiy's call and are now doing soi -. vice for' King and country. "The NobWci" haveccitainly shown a splendid'example to the young men of this district who picfor that otheis "should light for their freedom nncj the piotcetion of their liomes.
