Estimates for the current, year were, income W9" and expenditure £51)78 It/-, a deficit of £220 14/-. On the motion of Jtew G. Bond/ Chairman of •Committee, the host thanks of the Conference were presented to Mr 1 Veale for his able services during the past live years. Jto (the speaker) •voiced the great obligation of the Conference, to .Mr,Veale for his services, and their sincere regret that lie h/id found it necessary to resign. . ; 'I ]}ew G. Bpnd was unanimously appointed general treasurer of the fund, mid Mr.). Veale honorary treasurer.
Itev. Geo. Bond moved the Committee's recommendation that'the- thanks of the Conference lie presented, to the Hew 1". G. Brook? organising secretary for Home Missions, and that, lie bo appointed for another year. This was carried unanimously. In further dealing with the extension of I lie'term of ministerial appointments the Mow ('. 11. "That the majority required to carry such appointments in conference lie reduced to 53 per cent."
