TNYEROAROILL, March ,V A serious railway smash occurred nt Wa'lliicptown crossing tliis morning. A goods train from Nightcaps struck a motor cyclist, who with his machine was'tlirown on to Ihe cow-catcher. The cycle struck the pointsman, who was sitting o» the lever, and knocked him down. The engine loft the rails, followed by seven coal and grain laden wagons, which tore up the permanent way for a chain and a half. The engine was badly damaged ami several wagons were capsized and smashed. Tho driver, lireiiian, and cyclist escaped- uninjured. The line was blocked till Into in the afternoon..
