Sales of Waihi Grand Junctions, were. effected' at £1 4/;i,£M/2, and. £l-4/J, the 'market closing with buyers at £l4/- and sellers nt £ 1 4/J3. In the investment;stock section National Banks were offered at the .final call over at £5 4/-, Bank of New Zealands at £lO 5/- (old), and £lJi 8/- (now), but no buyers eamo forward. Inquiry for Union Steams (old.) eased to £1 1/3, with sellers steady at £1 J/9, The preferential'issue remained firm at £1 (buyer), and £1 0/G (seller). Weatport Coal were disposed of at £1 12/-, and further lots were wantod at £l,ll/C, with no sellers. New Zealand Paper Mills were in demand at 15/9 (ex dividend) without declared sellers.
