Waihis had reported business at £1 13s (id, the market containing buyers at the last call-over at £1 L'ls 3d,-'and sellers at £1 14s. Prices of Waihi Grand Junctions showed an upward tendency at £1 3s fid and £1 Its !>d, buyer and seller respectively, Tasinanian Coppers were placed on the market at Bs, and Hercules at 10s, but no buyers wore induced to come forward. In the investment stock section Bank of Now 7mlands were in firm demand at £lO 2s (Id (old), and £ls (new), but the market again lacked sellers. A parcel of Union Steams changed hands at £1 2s Id, and further lots wore offered at £1 2s 3d, without declared buyers. '^ Sale.—Union Steam, £1 2s Id.
