POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCED. > The following lcsolutjons were agreed to at a meeting of tho Maisdcn Centenary Celebration Commission, hold at tho Diocesan office, Auckland, on Tuesday, September Bth, 1!)11: That in consequence of the changed ciicumstancos aiising fiom the 'bionkiug out/of wai, tho Commission, with great icgiet, is obliged to abandon the pioposcd Chinch Congress. That the special celobialion of Holy Commiiiiion at the Maisdcn Cioss, on Cluistmns Day, 1911, should be held as aiiangcd, That special thanksgiving be offcied in s eveiy Chinch tluoughout tlic provjme on Christmas Duj, Inn, That tho public mooting in the Town Hall, Auckland, ou Deccnibci 11th, li)ll, be'held as arranged. That while tho raising of the Thanksgiving Centenary Fund is impossible at present in conscqucnco'of' in the opinion of the Commission, it should bo prococded with, if ciicumstaiices permit, after' the Declaration of Peace.
