SUMMARY AND FORECAST. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, Oct. 6. High westerly winds have prevailed, and rain has fallen, ou tlio West Coast' and southern districts, but 'warm and fair to cloudy weather has prevail?J, elsewhere, The barometer is high in the North and low in the South.
Present indications arc for high and squally wcslorly winds. Expect "cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable, especially on the West Coast and Southern districts and heavy seas on all the western cozist. The baiometer is unsteady.
