TIMARU, Oct, 2, A meeting of grain merchants, hold this afternoon, resolved to protest against the prices fixed for milling wheat and Hour, as they will involvn many holders in serious financial loss, Iu view of the present short stocks on hand, and the prospcct.of short suppling, next season, the meeting considered 5/3 1'.0.b., for wheal and £l3 f.o.b. for flour as origiually recommended- by tho Commission to bo fair and reasonable. A copy of the resolution was ordered I to be sent to tho Premier. /
