A serious accident befel a young mdn. named John Phillips yesterday after-, noon. He was employed' delivering' , mi'at for Mr IT. L. Bryentoii, of Itiddlford street, anl was remounting his cart after serving a customer in, Daniel street when he slipped to the ground. Before he could obtain control of the • liorso the wheel, of'the cart had passed over his head, breaking both jaws and inflicting other injuries.' Phillips,; who , is a single man', was removed to the iios- . pifal, and is reported to lie iii a very low condition. V ;
