GOVERNOR OF SAMOA.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Augutt 6. Mr E. Fo'cfce, German Consul at Wellington, is officially informed that Dr Schultz, Chief Justice of Samoa, has been appointed Governor of that part of the German Empire, vice Dr Solf, promoted Colon.ial Secretary at Berlin. Dr. Schultz, who spent many weeks in New-iZea--1 land some years ago! has been aoting as Governor of Samoa since Br. Solf's retirement. ■
