MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT.

In order to avoid a collision with a gig at a street crossing j n a quiet part of the town this morning the owner and driver turned a big mo. tor car too sharply round the corner, with the result that one of the hind wheels collapsed, and the car (ell on its side, throwing out the driver and (our or five young women passengers. The car nevertheless hit the gig, but behind, and threw it forward and capsized it. Butler) struck tho kerb with his head when he fell and was cut about tiie face, and later showed symp-! toras of skull fracture,- The ambulance men did good service before the doctors arrived, in removing the patients (three of them) to the hospital. A tall hedge at the corner prottaMy had something to do in Bringing -about the accident.
