She was unable to catch the signals' clearly, but learned that she was in trouble. New York, April 10. The crew of the steamer Ontario escaped to the shore, leaving (he vessel in flames. She lies on (he rocks, flames pouring from all sides and a 'heavy sea battering her to pieces. She presents a remarkable' spectacle. All her cargo is lost. Received April 12, at 12.35 a.m.
